United Methodist Women

United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

United Methodist Women of Trinity is opened to women of all ages and interest. We have three active circles that provide a way for women to meet regularly in smaller groups to worship, support and be in fellowship with each other.

United Methodist Women are not required to belong to a circle, but they are always welcome to join one that fits their interests and schedule. UMW also supports mission work and other events within our church and community throughout the year. UMW sponsors events held at Trinity for all women four times a year in addition to; a bake sale in Town Square Park in conjunction with the May Craft Show, bake sale at Hometown Days, Trunk or Treat for the children in the community and a cookie walk in December.

GLORY Circle is Trinity’s longest established circle. The women of Glory Circle were original members from Yorkville Methodist Church and Bristol Methodist Church which joined together to form Trinity Church United Methodist; some have been a part of this group for well over 40 years. All ladies are invited to attend meetings which are held on the first week of the month @ 1p.m. at one of the ladies homes.
