'Open hearts, open minds, open doors'
 
UMCOR Responds to the Earthquake in Haiti 
 
      A major earthquake hit Port-au-Prince, Haiti yesterday, causing widespread destruction. Millions of people are affected and thousands are feared dead. The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) has close ties with the Methodist Church in Haiti and is responding to the devastating earthquake with funding, material resources and prayers. more
     To learn more information about how you can help with the relief effort in Haiti or how you can contribute, please visit the Haiti Emergency page on UMCOR's website.
     Supplies needed for health kits are also being collected by Trinity Church for UMCOR.  These items include a hand towel, a wash cloth, regular adult size tooth brushes in individual packages, 6 adhesive plastic strip sterile badages, a large comb, a nail file or fingernail clippers (no emery boards), bath-size bar of soap (3 oz. and up) and gallon size sealable plastic bags.  Drop off any supplies at the church during office hours.
 
SOUPER BOWL OF CARING
 
 On February 7th, our Youth Ministry and Congregation shared a Meal of Soup
 and collected 106 Cans of Soup and $60.00 for
our own 'Kendall County Food Pantry'!
