Day 5
Our safari adventure is now over, but we know that God is always with us. We have learned so much about our relationship with God and to praise him every day that Jesus is alive and he has given us a place in His kingdom. Jesus finished the Lord's Prayer to remind us that God is great and powerful. "…For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen."
We would like to give a special thanks to all of the volunteers and contributors who helped us celebrate the “Kingdom of the Son”. Because of you our Safari was a “ROARING” Success.

Day 4
Our adventure is almost over, but what a blast it has been!! Today we were suppose to go to the watering hole like hippos do, but it was raining so we had the Animalympics a day early. At least we still got to snack on our hippo ponds. Jesus asked God in the Lord's Prayer to help us to do what is right and say no to temptation. "…And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil…"

Day 3
Wow, how quickly our adventure is flying by!! Today we made placemats to help us learn the Lord's Prayer and navigated our way through quicksand. Our lesson today was that God forgives and helps us to forgive others as well. Jesus spoke of this in telling the story of the Unforgiving Servant. In the Lord's Prayer, Jesus also reminds us of this by saying, "…And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us…"

Day 2
Today was another great day on our safari adventure!! We watched a skit called Giraffic Park and ate Giraffe Salad. We also got to play the switch a tent game and cub swipe game. During the safari, we learned that God loves us and gives us what we need and uses us to meet others' needs. Jesus showed us this by helping to feed 5,000 people with 2 fish & 5 loaves of bread. In the Lord's Prayer, he asks this of God, "… Give us this day our daily bread…"

Day 1
Today was the beginning of our safari adventure with God. In our adventure in learning the Lord's Prayer, we made jungle rain sticks, played photo safari frenzy, and ate lion paw prints. Today we learned that God is our loving Father who listens to our prayers. Jesus taught us this in the Lord's Prayer by saying, "Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven…"
